DRIVE Analytics
We provide epidemiologic and data analytics expertise for animal health research
DRIVE Analytics collaborates with faculty, researchers, and industry partners to develop rigorous animal health research and transform complex data into meaningful evidence. Our team can contribute throughout the research process, from developing an initial research question and proposal to analyzing data, interpreting findings, and communicating results.
Study Design & Research Development
We work with collaborators early in the research process to ensure that study design, data collection, and analytical approaches are aligned with the research objectives. DRIVE Analytics can contribute to the development of grant proposals and participate as a research partner on collaborative projects. Our support includes:
Epidemiologic and experimental study design
Sampling strategies and sample size determination
Field data collection and project management
Statistical and analytical planning
Laboratory Testing & ELISA-Based Data Generation
Data Analysis & Interpretation
We provide epidemiologic and data science expertise for ongoing and completed research projects, with a particular focus on animal health, production, management, and performance outcomes. Our team works with diverse and complex data sources and applies a broad range of analytical approaches, including frequentist and Bayesian methods, risk-factor analysis, diagnostic test evaluation, spatial epidemiology and risk mapping, clinical trial analysis, cluster and network analysis.
Our expertise supports projects involving:
Disease surveillance, outbreak analysis, and identification of disease patterns
Evaluation of diagnostic tests, biomarkers, and disease-detection approaches
Assessment of interventions, products, and technologies under research and field conditions
Geographic and temporal patterns in disease occurrence and risk
Analysis of data generated by sensors, automated systems, and precision livestock technologies
Support can extend from data analysis and visualization through interpretation, scientific reporting, and publication.
Work With DRIVE
DRIVE Analytics can participate as an epidemiology and analytics partner on collaborative academic projects, grant-funded research, and industry-sponsored research.
We welcome collaborations beginning with a research idea, a study under development, or an existing dataset.
